YES. My successful contribution to the product launch.

Our department had been working for quite some time on the development of a new, environmentally friendly product to be used for bleaching denim garments. This brand-new product marked an expansion of an already existing series of products that opened up new areas of application – making it a good opportunity to actively promote the entire system, including the newly developed product. Over the course of multiple meetings with our Marketing department, we coordinated the procedure and clarified various issues, for example who would be preparing which materials for publication. My department took responsibility for the technical component, compiling text descriptions and recommendations for use. We submitted these to the Marketing department, which put them into final form for use.

Brainstorming with film production

The next step involved determining how we could showcase our new product system in a simple explanatory video. A joint brainstorming session with experts from an external media firm specialising in film production gave rise to some outstanding ideas for how we could present our system in a professional image clip. Here too, the technical input on the products was supplied by my department. Jeans that we treated using the new system were photographed and prepared for use in social media. Because jeans simply look much better when worn than they do when they are lying on the ground, it was also necessary to get some of our colleagues to serve as models.

Support for our CHT colleagues worldwide

In addition to assisting with marketing, our department was also charged with compiling technical data sheets for the products. With these data sheets, customers know exactly how they should use our products and what they need to pay attention to when doing so. We also created a comprehensive technical training course for our CHT colleagues worldwide in which we explained the new system and answered their questions. This means that all preparations have been made – and we are ready to successfully present our new product and the system’s possible fields of application to our customers.
