YES. CHT at the Kingpins Amsterdam denim trade show

After more than two years without physically participating in an industry event, we were absolutely delighted to attend the Kingpins denim show in Amsterdam. At long last, we were finally able to talk to customers in person again, forge new contacts and present our latest developments at the stand.

Kingpins is one of the leading denim and jeans shows in the world and an ideal opportunity for denim manufacturers, artists, fibre producers, machinery suppliers, chemical suppliers like CHT, laundries and many other industry enthusiasts to gather in one place for two days of intensive exchanges of information and dialogue on the latest trends and technologies in the jeans and garment sector.

The path to creating the used look

The day before the opening, my team and I drove to the exhibition venue to set up the stand with our treated jeans and garments and make sure that everything we had ordered was there. This was followed by two full trade show days, during which we spoke with numerous familiar contacts, but also made some new connections.

How is CHT involved?

Even I, who could hardly make any personal contacts due to the pandemic, met customers here again from my first business trip to Brazil. It was great to reaffirm how important it is to have direct and personal interactions with customers.

Giving advice at the stand was so much fun that it hardly felt like you were working. After two very well-attended days at the show, my team and I returned to Tübingen feeling satisfied and are now busy with things like following up on the contacts we made at the show and working on the related to-do lists.
